Here is what I have learned about programming:
You can do it well, and still get burned.
You can really have great ideas, a great goal for your software, and then you can find that any number of problems crop up and obliterate your ability to make the end result shine. I’m going to focus on php programming specifically, but the principles will apply to a wide variety of programming languages and frameworks.
The programming pitfalls you make can and will overshadow the successes.
So let’s get the mistakes out of the way early. Let’s purposefully make them to understand them, and be able to identify them. Once we have the “what not to do” out of the way, it really opens up the possibilities of what you -can- code with confidence & authority.
That is what this site/blog is about.
